    From downtown Lawrence, head east on 9th Street towards Massachusetts Street. Continue on 9th until you reach Massachusetts Street, then turn right (south) and walk down Massachusetts Street until you reach 6th Street. Turn left (east) on 6th Street and walk until you reach the Lawrence Transit bus stop. Take the bus heading towards North Lawrence. Get off at the stop near the intersection of 6th Street and Iowa Street. From there, you can catch the bus to the Lawrence Bus Station. Once at the station, transfer to a bus heading towards the Rockport area. After you arrive in Rockport, follow signs to Gott Ave. Halibut Point State Park is located at Gott Ave, just a short walk from the bus stop.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Lawrence Public Library located at 707 Vermont Street. Head east on 7th Street, then turn south on Massachusetts Street. Continue cycling south until you reach 6th Street. Turn left (east) on 6th Street and then take a right to head towards the Lawrence Transit bus station. Rent a bike from a local rental shop if needed. After arriving at the bus station, take a bus towards Rockport. Upon arriving in Rockport, follow the signs to Gott Ave, and you will find Halibut Point State Park just a short ride away.
