Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the intersection of 9th Street and Massachusetts Street, which is a central area in Lawrence. Head north on Massachusetts Street and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 11th Street. Turn left onto 11th Street and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will need to cross over to the other side of the street at the intersection with North Park Street. Continue straight for a few more blocks, and you will reach the entrance of Salem Common, located at N Washington Square.

• Public Transit

  Find the nearest bus stop serving the Lawrence Transit System. Take the bus that heads towards the downtown area, typically the Blue route. Get off at the stop at 9th and Massachusetts Street. From there, walk north on Massachusetts Street for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto 11th Street and walk for 0.3 miles until you reach N Washington Square and Salem Common.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start at the Lawrence Public Library on 7th and Vermont Street. From there, head west on 7th Street for a few blocks, then turn left onto Massachusetts Street heading south until you reach 11th Street. Turn right and continue for about 0.5 miles. You will arrive at Salem Common located at N Washington Square.
