Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting in downtown Lawrence, head east on 9th Street towards Massachusetts Street. Turn left onto Massachusetts Street and continue north until you reach 15th Street. From there, turn right onto 15th Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Naismith Drive. Continue on Naismith Drive, which will eventually lead you to the bus stop for the Lawrence Public Transit. Take bus route 34 towards the Lawrence Douglas County Health Department. Get off at the stop at 7th & New Hampshire. Walk to the bus stop for the 101 route towards Kansas City at 7th & New Hampshire. This will take you to the Lawrence Transit Center. From the transit center, take the 24 bus towards the Kansas City airport, which will connect you to the regional bus service that heads towards Manchester-by-the-Sea. Make sure to check the schedule for the bus timings, as it can vary throughout the day.

• Bicycling

  If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in downtown Lawrence. Start by heading north on Massachusetts Street until you reach 15th Street. Take a right turn on 15th Street and follow it until you reach Naismith Drive. You can bike on Naismith Drive towards the Lawrence Transit Center. Once you reach the transit center, you can take the regional bus that will take you toward Manchester-by-the-Sea. Make sure to check if the bus allows bicycles onboard and follow any local biking regulations.

• Public Transit

  From downtown Lawrence, walk to the nearest bus stop at 9th & Massachusetts. Board the bus that takes you to the Lawrence Transit Center. Once at the transit center, transfer to the bus service that operates routes to Manchester-by-the-Sea. Be sure to check the timetable for any changes in service and connections. After you arrive at Manchester, follow the signs towards Beach Street, where Singing Beach is located.
