From Nova Gorica, head to the main bus station located at Železniška postaja Nova Gorica. Take the bus towards Udine. The journey usually takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Udine bus station, exit the bus terminal and walk towards the city center. You can follow the signs directing you to 'Centro'.

From Nova Gorica, make your way to the nearest train station, which is also located at Železniška postaja Nova Gorica. Board a train heading to Udine. The train ride will take around 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Udine train station, exit and walk towards the city center. Look for signs pointing to 'Castello' or 'Centro' to guide you.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, first make your way to the Europark shopping center in Nova Gorica. From there, head towards the border crossing point at Rateče. Once across the border into Italy, continue walking straight until you reach the main road, then turn left. Follow the road until you reach Udine. This is a longer journey and could take several hours, so it's recommended only for the adventurous.
