Walking
If you are in the center of Assomada, start by heading towards the main road that leads out of town, known locally as Avenida de Assomada. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the exit heading towards the direction of the mountainous area. Continue walking for another 30 minutes, and you will see signs leading to Pico da Antónia. Follow the signs, and the path will eventually lead you to the base of the mountain.

Public Transport
From the center of Assomada, make your way to the local bus station located on Rua 5 de Julho. Look for a bus heading to 'Pico da Antónia' or any bus that mentions 'Montanha'. Buses usually leave every hour. Once you are on the bus, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Pico da Antónia. From the drop-off point, you may need to walk for about 20 minutes to reach the base of the peak.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from the center of Assomada and ride towards the main road, Avenida de Assomada. Continue along this road for about 3 kilometers, taking the right turn at the roundabout towards the mountainous area. There will be a few uphill stretches, so be prepared for some effort. After about 20-30 minutes of cycling, you should arrive at the base of Pico da Antónia.
