Walking
From the center of Assomada, head south on Avenida 5 de Julho towards the Praça de Assomada. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua de São João. Turn left onto Rua de São João and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You'll pass various local shops and houses. At the end of Rua de São João, turn right onto Rua do Cemitério. Walk for another 500 meters, and you will see a sign pointing towards Chaminé de Chaves. Continue straight for about 300 meters, and the landmark will be on your left.
Public Transport
From Assomada, you can take a local minibus (known as 'alfândega') heading towards Chaves. The minibus station is located near the Praça de Assomada. Board the minibus and inform the driver that you are going to Chaminé de Chaves. The ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Chaves, follow the signs for Chaminé de Chaves, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus drop-off point.
