Walking
From the center of Assomada, head south on Rua de São João towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Cabo Verde. Turn left onto Avenida de Cabo Verde and continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will start to see signs for Cidade Velha. Follow the signs, and you will eventually arrive at the entrance of Cidade Velha, which is an open historical area.
