    Walking

    To get to Villa d'Este from the Sistine Chapel, first exit the chapel and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once you are outside, turn right and walk towards the Ottaviano metro station, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. At the Ottaviano metro station, purchase a ticket for Line A (the red line) towards Anagnina. Ride the metro for 8 stops and get off at the Termini station. From Termini, transfer to Line B (the blue line) towards Rebibbia and ride for 2 stops until you reach the Tiburtina station. Exit the station and look for the bus terminal. Take bus number 440 towards 'Piazza Trento' and get off at the 'Piazza Trento' stop. Villa d'Este will be a short walk from there, located at P.za Trento, 5.
