Walking
Exit the Sistine Chapel and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. From there, walk straight through the Vatican City towards the exit. Once you reach the exit, turn right onto Viale Vaticano. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Viale della Conciliazione. Cross the street and continue along Viale della Conciliazione, passing by St. Peter's Basilica on your right. When you reach the end of Viale della Conciliazione, you will find yourself at the Tiber River. Turn left and follow the riverbank for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Ponte Sisto bridge. Cross the bridge and proceed straight onto Via Garibaldi. This road will lead you up to Gianicolo Hill. Continue straight until you see signs for Villa Sciarra. The destination will be on your left at V.le delle Mura Gianicolensi, 11.
Public Transport
From the Sistine Chapel, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via di Porta Angelica. Take bus number 23 towards 'Viale Trastevere.' After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Piazza Ippolito Nievo.' From there, walk down Via Ippolito Nievo, which will lead you towards Viale delle Mura Gianicolensi. Villa Sciarra is located at V.le delle Mura Gianicolensi, 11 and will be on your left.
